2 Mins read

Unlike Umrah, Hajj is a necessary pilgrimage for all Muslims, and it is one of the five pillars of Islam. This means that Islam stands on the shoulders of Hajj along with four other principles. However, Hajj is a compulsory obligation for Muslims who can fulfill specific criteria. Once you meet certain requirements and fall in the category of being able to perform Hajj, then there are some essential preparations of Hajj, like knowing about Hajj 2021 packages Pakistan that you should do before Leaving for it.

Most people only get one chance of performing Hajj, and they want this experience to go smoothly and in a memorable way. If you are going for Hajj for the first time and want it to go flawlessly, then you should prepare appropriately for your religious journey. Preparations for Hajj should be done as soon as possible to ensure that you are mentally satisfied a few days before the flight and not worried about missing out on something important.

For you, we have decided to write some ‘before Hajj’ guidelines. You can take help from this guide while preparing for Hajj.

Three Important Preps for Hajj:

  1. Choosing a Traveling Agent:

Before you do anything else; you should look for a traveling agent who offers a variety of Hajj packages 2021 so that you may choose one according to your liking. You will see that many agents are offering Hajj services, but not all of them provide the quality you would need in a foreign land. So, it would be best if you talked to multiple agents to learn more about services and their quality. You can also talk to your friends and family who may have recently performed Hajj to ask them for good travel agent recommendations. Before selecting an agent, you should ask them some important questions like arrangements of food and accommodations in Mina, Muzdalfah, and Arafat? What is the duration of stay in Madinah and Mecca? Any additional charges? Distance from Haram Shareef, will the hotel be within walking distance or not? Will your guide know Arabic or not? Ask them more similar questions like these.

Hajj Umrah Vaccination
  • The necessary vaccinations:

It is essential to get certain vaccinations before you enter Saudi Arabia. They will give you the visa only if you have a health certificate. If you are not sure about which vaccines you are supposed to get, you should consult the Saudi embassy or your doctor. It is indispensable that you have a good vaccine record if you want to go and perform Hajj. After you obtain your vaccination record book, make sure that you ask your physician to sign it and fill it out. If you don’t do the necessary medical checks, your visa application can get rejected.

  • The essential documents:

Finally, you should make sure that all your documents are complete. Saudi Arabia requires that your passport is a valid one (valid for more than six months). Of you don’t have a valid one, you should update it before applying for Hajj and before you even find out about private Hajj packages from Lahore.  You will also be needing a round trip ticket of Saudi Arabia if you want your visa to be issued; otherwise, the Saudi government will think that you are a fraud and plan on staying in Saudi Arabia once you reach there. You should attach everything along with the visa application.  You should have your pictures ready if anyone asks you for them. Make sure your last testaments and wills are finalized and notarized. Both these things will be attached along with your application and will be used in case something happens to you during your spiritual journey.
