Ra’ad is an ALCM which is launched by an aircraft, and used by standoff weapons to fire the predetermined targets. These are the current versions of this ALCM which can be seen in a video showing the successful test fire too. One of its important features is that it can’t be easily detected through defense systems that is why is has become one of the most feared weapons for our enemies as it can quietly deliver thermonuclear weapon payload. The Scientists and the Engineers who were involved in the development of Ra’ad, were congratulated by the President, the Prime minister, and the Director General Strategic plans division, Lieutenant General Mazhar Jamil. The successful test fire of Ra’ad is an important step in strengthening Pakistan’s defense system and will make Pakistan a more powerful country. Ra’ad has been termed as a major milestone towards the strategic stability of the region.
