Annapurna range is one of the most stunning and most traveled destinations in Nepal. It is at the north-center with an altitude of 8000 m. from the sea level. The trek is also a highly rated trekking place in Nepal. It is famous for the spectacular view of high snow peak mountains like Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre, Glacier dome, Gangapurna, etc.

When to Trek Annapurna Range Himalayas

The best time to visit the Annapurna range is considered autumn (September to November) in which many Nepali festivals fall and the weather is not so cool. June to September is also a good season to trek the Annapurna trail. Though this is the time of monsoon in Nepal. Some of the famous places of the Annapurna region

Manang village

Manang village is located at the altitude of 3519 meters above sea level which falls on the Annapurna region. Therefore, This place is famous for its local lifestyle and culture. You will get to watch the panoramic view of Gangapurna, Tilicho, Kangaru, Pisang, and Chulu rang and Thorong peak. You will get to observe the local lifestyle of people there. Yaks are still in use at Manang for transportation. You will have typical Nepali food in Nepali style. Manang valley is a fun and refreshing place to visit. People of Manang are very welcoming and openhearted. You will find many tea houses and lodges in Manang.

Thorong La Pass

Thorong la pass the beautiful place of the Annapurna range. It is a dessert-like barren plateaued. Mainly people of the Gurung and Sherpa community lived in Thorong la pass region. When you reach to Yak Kharka you will see the brilliant view of Chulu west and Thorong Pedi. The way to Thorong la passes goes through the gorgeous paddy field, waterfalls, and massive rock face extensions.

Tilicho Lake

The world’s highest lake in Nepal is Tilicho Lake. It is lies at an altitude of 4919 from the sea level. Undoubtedly, it is the most visiting destination along the way to Annapurna Circuit. Muktinath

Mustang is a village with a barren landscape. The view of the Annapurna range including Dhaulagiri from mustang is amazing. It is mostly influenced by Tibetan culture and tradition. It is the dry place so vegetation is not possible. The famous Muktinath temple lies on the mustang. Mustang is one of the remote districts of Nepal in which any modernization has not to reach. People still use yaks for transportation.
